  1. I recently dined at the Silk Road and really enjoyed it! The food was wonderful and the prices are very affordable. It is BYOB as they do not have a liquor license yet. I was impressed to learn that they offered nearby delivery too. I highly recommend everyone try this place and keep it in business. We need good restaurants like this around our neck of the woods. I'm still hoping for Mi Cocina or Cantina Laredo myself. For the folks that recently blogged looking for the number here it is 972-547-0436.

  2. My husband and I ate at Silk Road and were one of two tables occupied in the restaurant.
The food was excellent and the service was good. We love Thai food and this is by far the best Thai Restaurant in Mckinney. I'm hoping that business improves for them as this is my new favorite restaurant. The now have their liquor license and serve wine and beer.

  4. Had luch there yesterday and decided to take the wife out for dinner there. The menu was impressive, the food is excellent, the wait staff is helpful and the setting is nice. May be our new restaurant of choice, as it is the best in the area.

  5. My husband and I had dinner there tonight. The restaurant was busy, but there was no wait. We started with the Vegetarian Spring Rolls (best I've ever had) and both ordered Jungle Curry, a bit too hot for me, but the taste was great. Next time I'd order it milder. There's a broad menu with something for everyone and all reasonably priced. They have their liquor license now. Thai beer was a very nice touch. However, we were seated behind a wall in a corner & the wait staff tended to forget about us. When they remembered us, their service was top-notch.

  8. My wife and I ate at Silk Road tonight; my second visit and her first. We've lived in North Texas for five years now and this is one of the few restaurants we've found that we really look forward to visiting again. Great food, pleasant and attentive wait staff, comfortable seating and reasonable prices add up to a satisfying dining experience that we look forward to repeating.
